The Cellar
The Cellar is one of the few fine dining options in the Idaho Falls area. I decided to try it as it was rated one of the top 10 restaurants by Idaho Falls Magazine. If you sign up on their website for the email list, you will receive a free glass of wine or dessert!
Food
This restaurant has a very limited menu, but I only ordered appetizers so it didn't matter much to me. My boyfriend and I ordered wine and 2 appetizers. The hummus plate was amazing and came with a variety of vegetables and pita bread. It was expensive at $11, but worth it for the huge serving. The bruschetta was not good, and I would not order it again. It was overpriced for only 2 slices of bread.
Service
The server was friendly and made wine suggestions. We had a problem with our bill, and she cleared it up quickly.
Atmosphere
We sat on the enclosed patio, which had big windows looking out onto pine trees. This gave it a nice woody, private feel even though the restaurant was located in a shopping plaza. There were also white lights around the trunks of the trees and inside, so it made for a nice romantic setting. They also have live music on the patio several nights a week, unfortunately we were not there on one of the nights with live music.
Final Remarks
I would most likely visit this restaurant again. It was a nice romantic setting and one of the few nicer restaurants in the area, especially if you are looking for something a bit fancier.
