Pizza is their specialty with a large lineup of interesting pizza creations including a Sicilian pizza. A simple plain cheese pizza was a great choice. The Baked Ziti was fantastic as well. In terms of appetizers, an order (or 2) of the delicious garlic knots is a must!
As is the case with most restaurants in touristy Prescott, pricing is a bit on the high side with a 16 inch specialty pizza running $20 and pasta plates starting at about $15, with much higher prices for meat based entrees. A basic marinara pasta plate will only set you back $10.
Overall, we felt that we received a good value in exchange for the price. We even had a few leftovers to take home with us.
Our waiter was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Food was served hot and fresh with no longer than a 15 minute wait, even though it was very crowded. He catered to our various requests like extra sauce on the pizza and light cheese on the Ziti.
Rosa's is a casual Italian gem with a laid-back bar/pizza parlor atmosphere. The brick walls and rustic ambiance make it a great place to catch up with friends or family for a relaxing meal.
Don't come here looking for a fancy Italian meal, but rather a laid-back dining experience with friends and family sharing home-cooked Italian favorites like pizza and pasta. The owners are actually from Sicily, so you know that they know how to do Italian food right.
A European style outdoor patio is available during Prescott's milder months. Dining outside during Prescott's warmer seasons would be a great opportunity to people watch downtown.
