Zenith Steakhouse, located at the Twin Arrows Casino Resort, is your best option for a fine dining experience within the Flagstaff region. It's the best choice for a celebratory dinner, not only at Twin Arrows, but also when compared to other upscale options in Flagstaff.
Zenith serves dinner 5 days a week (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). On the menu, you will find an assortment of steaks, seafood entrees, and seafood based appetizers. They even offer a delicious vegan Wild Mushroom & Asparagus Risotto entree, which is unusual for a steakhouse, but much appreciated by vegetarians and vegans who can dine alongside their meat eating friends and family members.
You will be brought out fresh baked bread and butter while waiting to place your order. Unfortunately, no gluten-free bread is offered as an alternative. Hopefully Zenith will offer a substitute in the near future. The Zenith Chop Salad, presented tableside for 2, is a great starter while waiting for your tasty main dish. A bit pricey, although a nice selection of veggies, hard boiled eggs, and kalamata olives started the meal out wonderfully.
Lots of choices for carnivores and seafood lovers. They are known for using source verified Native American beef, aged 35 days. Accompaniments to your steak include lobster tails, blue cheese mousse, and sauteed mushrooms. Seafood lovers can enjoy entrees such as: Seafood Linguine, Seared Icleanic Salmon, and Cold Water Lobster Tails. They also offer a number of Chilled Seafood selections to share amongst your table. The basic platter, priced at $100, includes: 10 Jumbo Shrimp 4 oz Maine Lobster Salad, 4 oz Spicy Salmon Salad, and 12 Large New Zealand Green Mussels.
As mentioned, the Wild Mushroom & Asparagus Risotto is a fantastic choice for anyone needing a vegetarian and/or gluten-free dinner. The rice was not bland at all, but rather nicely seasoned. The Pan Roasted Chicken Breast, served with corn salsa, is another fantastic and reasonably priced entree for anyone seeking a GF option. Mike loved this plate.
Staff is very willing to accommodate guests with allergies. Every ingredient was verified by the chef. Although the menu could use a few more gluten-free and vegetarian entrees and appetizers, the staff did the best they could to accommodate us with what was available. Update: The menu is now marked clearly with GF and vegetarian choices.
Dessert includes a Flamed Bananas Foster for 2, prepared tableside and served alongside vanilla ice cream. Pricey at $30, but it sounds delicious. And finally, Zenith offers a large and impressive wine menu, earning its' place on the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence List.
Service was exceptional: our best experience in the Flagstaff area to date. The waiter was professional, prompt, and took care to ensure that our dishes were dairy and gluten-free.
The beautiful dining room creates an elegant ambiance which differs drastically from the other restaurants on property. The combined classy decor, excellent food presentation, and exceptional service make it the #1 choice in Flagstaff for a date night out or special occasion.
Overall, dining at Zenith is a wonderful experience. Zenith is your best bet for an elegant dinner in the area as the service, food, and setting are all unmatched. Whether or not. you are staying at the casino, I recommend taking a drive over from Flagstaff or a nice date night out.
