Windsor Hills Orlando Condo Rentals are located in Kissimmee Florida, only about 2 miles from the entrance to the Disney theme parks. We chose this condo rental after hearing great reviews from other family members who just got back from Disney. We rented a car for our trip, however, transportation to the parks is available for a small fee.
Windsor Hills looks like a typical apartment complex when you arrive. There is a 24 hour staffed gated entry, which is a great safety feature. It looks nice around the condo - new, maintained buildings - lots of nice palm trees around. I was pleased with the aesthetics of the building, the pool area, and the condos themselves.
Amenities at your condo include a full sized kitchen, kitchen utensils and equipment, washer and dryer, screened in balcony, linens and towels, flat screen TVs, free movies, a full sized dining table, and free WiFi.
Windsor includes the use of many fantastic resort amenities like a sand volleyball courts, pool with water slide, hot tub, fitness center, business center, lighted tennis and basketball courts, pool table and arcade games, and a cinema.
This condo featured fantastic amenities for the price tag. I am so glad that we stayed here over a hotel, which would have been much more expensive and not offered as much space or amenities.
It was so nice having a full sized kitchen - we saved money by making breakfast in the morning instead of purchasing at the theme parks. Also, it was nice to come home after a long day at the park and have food in the kitchen. The oven came in handy for reheating restaurant leftovers.
The pool and hot tub were fantastic. We didn't use the tennis or basketball courts but playing sand volleyball was a blast. We all had a blast using the water slide and pool, especially at night when it was still hot enough to swim.
Rates vary based on the time of the year and range from $95 in September and December to $135 for Christmas and New Year's. For our 1 week July vacation, we paid around $700. There is also a cleaning fee of $65 if you stay less than 7 nights.
This is not a bad price at all considering that we had a party of 7. The price would have been much, much higher to stay at a hotel, especially for that many people for which we would have needed 2-3 rooms.
There are several layouts to choose amongst. We rented out the 3 bedroom condo. There was plenty of room for everyone. The master bedroom had an attached bathroom. There was another room with 2 twin sizes bed and also a queen bed room. The couch in the living room also had a pull out bed. Everything was clean and decorated nicely, but in a simple manner.
I recommend booking a Windsor Hills Condo for your trip to Disney. This condo made our trip fantastic. So many amenities are included at this condo for the small price tag: it really is a better value than staying at a Disney resort. And the convenient shuttle/short drive to the parks just makes it even more attractive.
I will definitely be booking with Windsor Hills again on my next trip to Disney.
