Benefits of a summer stay

Although a summer visit brings forth some negatives (noisy pool parties, too warm pool temps, and uncomfortable afternoon temps reaching well into the 110’s), there is one main advantage of a summer visit, and that is drastically reduced rates and special seasonal promotion packages!

Once the winter crowds have disappeared, The Biltmore offers special summer rates to entice locals who would otherwise likely not stay at the resort. The all inclusive summer special is a really great deal : the ideal staycation for Arizona locals looking to score a great deal close to home as opposed to a pricey flight somewhere with extensive time off required.

The Fabulous All-Inclusive Summer Package

As part of the Summer All-Inclusive promotion, you will receive a daily breakfast for 2, lunch for 2, dinner for 2, complimentary self parking (a $23 value), the resort fee waived (a $45 value), and 10% off all spa services. Those who show proof of Arizona residency will also receive a $25 resort credit to be used anywhere throughout the property. This deal really is a fantastic value especially in the food dept as the lunch credit is $62 and the dinner $120! Because everything is included, a summer vacation to The Biltmore is a stress free little getaway for any Arizona residents looking for a laid-back, relaxing escape in the sun.

*Check with the resort to see if these still offer the $25 resort credit for Arizona residents.

Lawn games. When you tire of the pool, head over for some old-fashioned fun! Enjoy a life size chess board and a classic game of croquet! Lawn chess has been a popular pastime at the Biltmore since opening in the 1920s!

Dining at the Biltmore

Espresso drinks at Cup and Cone. The Biltmore offers a small shopping area which includes a great little cafe where you can pick up a tasty espresso drink (they brew the fantastic Illy Espresso) and a few treats (try the chocolate covered strawberries or macaroons!). The Americano and Mochas here were just fantastic, plus they offer almond milk which makes the drink more creamy and decadent. They also serve homemade gelato.

Wright’s Restaurant. Wright’s is the fancier of the 2 Biltmore dining choices. Featuring live piano music, a menu that focuses on local produce and ingredients, and a more modern upscale setting, it’s the perfect date night choice. The Sunday Brunch is a bit pricier, although takes place in a more elegant setting with a larger variety of breakfast choices to choose amongst. The Wright’s Bar area is elegant and quiet: the perfect place to kick back with a drink after a long day at the pool. The outdoor bar area is also very relaxing – as you sip your morning espresso, you can look out onto the beautiful gardens.

Update: The restaurant is no longer open, although the bar is still open for drinks and bar bites.

Frank & Alberts. Frank and Alberts is the Biltmore’s more casual dining choice. Service is great here and the food is decent, although a bit overpriced for the quality & casual setting. In addition, the menu definitely could use a bit more variety. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy your meal in the beautiful lush outdoor patio.

Update: Frank and Alberts is now closed. New addition Renata’s Hearth features a lively menu of modern Latin fare.
