Caffe Moulin is the best place to enjoy delicious crepes in the Pittsburgh metro area. Featuring a menu of both savory and sweet crepes, plus specialty toasts and French toast platters, there is something here for everyone. The romantic ambiance and nice presentation make it one of my favorite places in the city for a date.
Cafe Moulin is the place to go if you like crepes. Savory options include selections like Spinach and Feta and Ham and Swiss. For those with a sweet tooth, Cheesecake and Chocolate Dream should please. For those avoiding meat products, a vegan batter is available.
The Tivoli crepe featuring mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, and pesto is a nice light, yet filling choice. While the food is good, the servings are pretty small for the price. Also potatoes would be preferable to a side salad for breakfast.
Drink options include orange juice and lemonade, latte drinks, tea, and coffee. Coffee is organic and includes refills, making Cafe Moulin a great choice if you are seeking a long relaxing weekend brunch destination where you can linger over a few cups of coffee.
Service is attentive despite the busy crowds on weekend mornings.
The vibe is hip and trendy. The space is clean and nicely decorated. A great date destination due to the upscale ambiance. The convenient location in Shadyside puts you within walking distance to many coffee houses and shops.
Cafe Moulin is a great choice if you are craving crepes. In a city loaded with many diners and fast food restaurants, Cafe Moulin is a nice refreshing change of pace.
