The Pour House was one of the bars Mike and I decided to visit on St. Patrick's Day in Bozeman, Montana. We were in town for the Run to the Pub Half Marathon and wanted to kick back after a rough, but fun race. This pub was very noisy and crowded. Luckily we found one open table. We enjoyed the festive green beer and awesome drink specials, although the rowdy college vibe was a bit too noisy for our taste.
At Pour House, you will find all your typical bar snacks and drinks specials. Burgers, wings, fried apps, fish and chips, it's all there. If you prefer to keep it a bit healthier, there's numerous salads and wraps to choose amongst. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and fried macaroni wedges. I would order both again. Draft beer during happy hours was only $2. Update: As of 2023, happy hour deals are $3 domestic draft, $3.75 micro draft, and $5 for a glass of wine. Various food specials are offered throughout the week.
Our waitress was pretty good considering the rowdy college atmosphere. We had no problems getting our drinks fast.
The ambiance at Pour House is your typical sports bar atmosphere with large screen TVs, a noisier vibe, and a younger college age crowd due to Montana State University being located in the area. The slot machines in the back seemed to be pretty popular.
The Pour House is your typical sports bar, which is great for grabbing a few beers and appetizers, but not the best spot for a nice sit down dinner. I would stop again, but not on a weekend night with the college crowd. It was too hard to find a table, too noisy, and too cramped.
