Food

At Central Diner, you can enjoy all the regular diner staples like omelets, skillets, pancakes, French toast, and benedicts with a convenient all day breakfast menu. Lunch/dinner includes an assortment of paninis, triple decker sandwiches, salads, burgers, sandwiches, seafood and chicken entrees, pasta, and Greek specialities.

While the breakfast offerings are decent enough, pricing is a bit high for the quality. However, if you are seeking a casual place to enjoy standard diner breakfast fare, Central is one of your best bets in Pittsburgh.

The garden omelet and veggie skillet are 2 "healthier" breakfast choices loaded with lots of fresh veggies. The home fries are a bit of a disappointment and appear to be frozen. The toast is delicious and the coffee is great (and also unlimited!).

Service

Service is usually attentive even on busy weekend mornings. Fresh coffee refills are brought out regularly while you wait on your entree.

Atmosphere

The vibe is casual and relaxed. The space appears clean and well-maintained despite the oftentimes hectic weekend crowds.
