The Bozeman Co-Op
The Bozeman Co-Op is a natural foods market located in Bozeman Montana. They also offer a full service deli, a large salad bar, and juice/smoothie bar. This co-op is one of the largest I have ever seen. The highlight here is a spacious seating area upstairs which overlooks the mountains.
Food
At this Co-Op you can customize your own sandwich at the deli. There are plenty of options and toppings available even for vegetarians and vegans. There is a large coffee/juice/smoothie bar. All the smoothies are made from organic products; I ordered the "Blue Moo" and it was one of the best smoothies I have ever tasted.
Prices were a little high, but worth it in my opinion for the high quality organic ingredients. The hot bar is priced around $12 per pound. Options change daily. You may find items such as Macaroni and Cheese, Brown Rice, Steamed Broccoli, and Mexican Street Corn Quesadillas on the lineup. The salad bar features tons of fresh produce and scratch made soups.
Service
The employees were friendly and seemed to really enjoy their jobs, which doesn't happen too often!
Atmosphere
I would go to this Co-Op all the time if I lived in Bozeman! I loved the dining area upstairs by the coffee/juice bar. There were huge windows with views of the surrounding mountains.
Final Remarks
Visiting the Bozeman Co-Op made me sad that I don't have one as nice in my own area. I wish I had a co-op like this in my town! I am so glad I found this place during my trip. This is a great place to stop for a healthy lunch; what a great selection of organic fruits and vegetables! I definitely recommend grabbing a sandwich and smoothie.
