Lombardi's is a casual Italian restaurant located within the Miracle Mile shops of Planet Hollywood. It's a great place to plan your dinner as they have a fun outdoor patio where you can still people watch and take in all the action, including enjoying a front row seat to the visually entertaining fountain show.

Food

Lombardi's offers a brunch, lunch, and dinner menu. On the daily brunch menu, you will find traditional favorites like Omelets, Eggs Benedict, pancakes, and french toast. The espresso drinks are wonderful.

During lunch and dinner hours, you can enjoy traditional Italian appetizers like Bruschetta and calamari, pick amongst a variety of classic Italian dishes like Fettuccine Alfredo, Gnocchi, and Lasagna, enjoy a wood-fired pizza, or enjoy a creamy risotto dish. For a more extravagant meal, check out the Halibut Mugnaia, Pollo Parmigiana, or Salmone Alla Griglia.

Desserts include options such as Cheesecake, Panna Cotta, and Tiriamisu.

Gluten-free diners will be impressed with the variety of choices including gluten-free pasta, gluten-free pizza, risotto, focaccia bread, several appetizers and salads (Shrimp Scampi and Lobster Salad for example), and even a few desserts (Panna Cotta, Creme Brulee, and Balsamic Ice Cream).

The Capelli d' Angelo (gluten-free pasta topped with fresh basil and tomatoes) was excellent. A bit pricey to be served alone without any salad, however, it filled me up and tasted delicious.

Another excellent choice is the Risotto con Pollo (Risotto mixed with grilled chicken, spinach, mushroom butter, tomato, and Parmesan). We opted to make the dish dairy-free, which the chef was easily able to do without any objections.

Prices are a bit high ($15-20 for a simple plate of pasta, plus an extra $1.50 to make it gluten-free), although comparable to other casino Italian restaurants, if not cheaper. Meals were filling and delicious, therefore, I would say it was a good value.

If I had any suggestions, it would be to add a few more vegetarian and vegan appetizers and sides to the menu.

Service

Service was great. Our waitress was glad to check on gluten and dairy free options with the chef. Service was fast, friendly, and professional.

Atmosphere

The highlight of Lombardi's is the beautiful patio where you can continue to take in the Vegas action even while dining. From here, you can take in the great choreographed music/light fountain show and people watch in the Miracle Shops area. For a romantic and quieter atmosphere, choose the more formal dining room.
