Villa Bellini is one of Clearwater's newer Italian restaurants. As the Clearwater area is loaded with many chains, Villa Bellini is a fresh addition to the area: an authentic Italian restaurant with a elegant design, professional servers, and a great menu.
Food
The menu at Villa Bellini includes a long list of Italian favorites: Fettuccine Alfredo, Lobster Ravioli, Chicken Marsala, and Chicken Parmigiana to name a few. All dinner entrees come with a salad (spinach, arugula, house, or Caesar) and bread.
The Spaghetti Puttanesca was wonderful: a really spicy tomato based sauce, mixed with black olives, capers, parsley, and garlic. It is really, really spicy, so if you are not a fan of spicy foods, you may want to skip this one!
Appetizers found on the menu include traditional selections like bruchetta, sauteed mussels, shrimp, and sauteed clams. There are plenty of delicious sides on the menu, including sauteed mushrooms, sauteed vegetables, and roasted potatoes. I recommend a serving of all 3!
The restaurant offers both whole grain and gluten-free noodles, although gluten-free bread is not an option.
Service
Service was very professional and personable. Our waiter was very friendly and made our night much more enjoyable.
Atmosphere
The restaurant's decor is very beautiful, especially during the holiday season. Both the inside and outside are decorated beautifully with Christmas trees, wreaths, and poinsettias. The atmosphere inside is classy and romantic, perfect for date night.
Final Remarks
Overall, Villa Bellini is sure to be a wonderful experience for the Italian food lover who is seeking an authentic, classy dining experience. Villa Bellini definitely delivers in the service and decor departments. For a nice night out in the Clearwater area, it does not get much better than Villa Bellini.
