Carmens Cafe Nicole is charming local restaurant in Plymouth, one of Massachusett's most gorgeous coastal towns. A friend recently recommended this restaurant to me. I have passed this restaurant several times during my trips to Plymouth but never felt compelled to stop in. Perhaps this is because it is not located directly on the waterfront like some of the other restaurants.

However, I am glad that we decided to try out Carmens because this small cafe was fabulous! Plenty of healthy options, a nice outdoor dining area, and friendly service made our lunch an enjoyable afternoon out.

Carmens Cafe Nicole offers a breakfast and lunch menu. They are open from 7:00am-3:00pm 7 days a week. The lunch menu consists of American, Mexican, and Seafood entrees.

Various wraps, sandwiches, Mexican combinations, and seafood combinations are available. Vegetarian options are available as well. I ordered the Healthy Harbour wrap, which was a delicious grilled veggie, hummus, and spring mix combo served on a whole grain wrap with fries.

Mike ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap, which he was also pleased with. At first glance, we thought the portions were a bit too small, however, the meal filled us up for our afternoon whale watching trip.

Sandwiches were $11, which seems appropriate for the area.

Take a look at the 2 menus below to see the variety of options offered. As you can see, there is definitely something for everyone, from seafood lovers to those craving some tasty Mexican food!

Service was very friendly here. Most of the restaurants in Plymouth seem to provide great service and Carmens Cafe Nicole was no exception.

Carmens Cafe Nicole features both indoor and outdoor seating. Being that it was a beautiful day out in the mid 70's, and we were right across from Plymouth Harbor, of course we decided to sit outside.

The tables included covered umbrellas, which was nice for enjoying the views without the sun in our face. The chairs were so comfortable - I felt like I was relaxing in my own backyard!

The water views are decent, not spectacular, but you can still see a glimpse of the harbor. It was very enjoyable eating healthy wraps and enjoying the beautiful summer weather.
