The only service we had was for drinks and clearing of the plates. The girl who was clearing plates took a long time, so basically our plates just sat there piled up for the whole meal.
The only nice aspect of this buffet was the setting. There were nice views of the tropical garden in the seating area. However, the seating was also uncomfortable because it was very crowded and very cramped together. The tables need to be more spread out. I also would have preferred private booths.
The Bayside Buffet at the Mandalay Bay Casino was a disappointing experience. Everything was bad from the stale food to the lack of variety to the cramped seating. I do not recommend this buffet. Choose another - there are dozens of buffet options in the area!
The Bayside Buffet inside of the Mandalay Bay Casino was my least favorite out of all the Las Vegas buffets that I tried out. There are definitely better buffets on The Strip. Even though the setting is nice, the food is horrible!
The food at Bayside Buffet was not good, it was even verging on horrible. Everything was stale. Nothing on the buffet line was refilled - half the stations were empty. The salad bar was tiny and barely offered any options. More than half of the options were sushi type that did not look appetizing at all. If you don't like sushi I guess you are out of luck. I feel like I wasted a lot of money eating here!
Prices are expensive too especially for what you get. We paid $25 a person for brunch to eat a bunch of stale garbage! I was so dissapointed in this buffet!
