Our waitress was okay but not very professional. One of the highlights of Italian restaurants is usually the exceptional service; however, this restaurant was just too casual.
The dining room at DiParma was nice although a bit too dark for my taste. I also wish they would have played Italian music in the background. The decor was definitely bland and a bit depressing. We were the only people in the restaurant – and after tasting the food I can see why!
I would not recommend DiParma Italian Table. I recommend driving the extra 5 minutes over to Providence and trying one of the many Italian restaurants in the Federal Hill part of town. DiParma Italian Table in Seekonk; bland food served in a bland setting.
DiParma Italian Table serves Italian food in 2 separate Massachusetts locations: Seekonk and West Yarmouth. This review is for the Seekonk location. We decided to stop in here one afternoon as we were craving Italian food and remember passing by this restaurant on several locations, as it stands out being attached to the Clarion Inn. There is not much of a choice in terms of Italian in this area outside of chains, so we thought we would give it a shot.
DiParma offers an unlimited lunch similar the deal offered by many of the Italian chain restaurants. For about $8 you get unlimited soup, salad, and bread. We weren’t happy with the food. The salads consisted mainly of iceberg lettuce. The rolls were stale. The soup did not taste fresh – my minestrone definitely had to have been canned soup. Unlimited doesn’t make a difference if the quality of food is terrible!
