Hotel Reivew
The Tropicana is one of the more budget friendly hotels available on The Strip. It's a nice choice due to the affordability and close proximity to other casinos and attractions on The Strip.
Appearance
The Tropicana looks nice from the outside with lush landscaping. One of the major things that drew us to this hotel was the amazing pool area. Definitely one of the best pools in Vegas! Lush tropical landscaping makes you feel like you are in an oasis, making the Tropicana a great place to get away from it all, if only for a few days!
Amenities
On-site you will find a buffet, several restaurants, a fitness center, a spa, pool, and more. My favorite feature of this hotel was definitely the pool area, which is frequently rated amongst the best in Vegas. The seasonal outdoor pool has several waterfalls, lots of palm trees an other exotic plants, and also a bar.
A 24 hour hot tub is also available. The breakfast buffet is only $11 and worth the price for the great views of the pool area and decent variety of selections.

We only paid $30 a night midweek for the room. 2 nights for under $70 is a steal! I don't think there are any other hotels on the strip that offer such a great value so cheap. You are located within walking distance of all of the casinos, so it really is a great deal!
Room
I was pretty impressed with the room for the price. The island bamboo theme which made it feel like an island escape. There is a nice deep garden tub too which is nice for relaxing after all the wear and tear on your feet after walking around all day!
Final Remarks
The Tropicana is a great place to stay during any Vegas trip. Not only does it have a great location on The Strip, but it also has plenty of great on site restaurants, a fantastic pool area, and plenty of shopping and entertainment all offered at an unbelievable price!
