This weekend I went ice skating at The Boston Common Frog Pond Ice rink. It was a good time although a tad bit expensive over other rinks I have been to. Luckily, I had my own skates so I only had to pay for admission (normally $5, skate rentals are $9). After skating I decided to get a drink at DAVIDsTEA. After all,  it was a windy cold night and I was completely freezing after skating for just half an hour.

I first heard about DAVIDsTEA at the Boston Common tree lighting back in Late November. They were giving out free samples and also coupons for a free cup of tea. I walked over to the shop from the ice rink (5 minute walk). They have dozens of teas available in all different flavors. You can either purchase tea to take home or just order a cup.

I decided on a cup of cookie dough white tea. It is hard enough just to find white tea in stores, let alone any type of flavored tea. I was really impressed with the taste – it really did taste like cookie dough! We headed to the Boston Common area and strolled around past the Christmas lights and took pictures by the Christmas tree.

I recommend visiting DAVIDsTEA and getting a warm drink after walking around downtown Boston during the cold winter months. There are 2 locations in town – I visited the 298 Washington Street location.
