Every city has its’ own unique top spots for city photography. Listed below are 3 fantastic sites for viewing the great skylines of Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Boston. Chicago & Pittsburgh are among the most scenic skylines in the country, if not the world. In addition, the beautiful greenery surrounding Boston gives us numerous options for uniquely attractive views.

Chicago

Located along the shores of Lake Michigan, the Adler Planetarium is located in the perfect spot for Chicago photography. The views are absolutely spectacular. The prominent architecture combined with an idyllic location on beautiful Lake Michigan creates the perfect city view. Both daytime and nighttime offer dramatic photograph opportunities.

Pittsburgh

The absolute best view of Pittsburgh’s incredible skyline can be viewed at the top of the Duquesne Incline. An antique cable car will take you 400 feet up to the  observation deck, which offers once in a life time panoramic views of the city. The view is so amazing that USA Today voted it one of the Top 10 Places Worldwide for City Views.

 Boston

Although Boston is not home to one of the best skylines in the country, great views can still be found at several locations, including Eliot Tower, which provides the opportunity for fantastic views in a serene setting. The highest point in Blue Hills Reservation, Great Blue Hill, is home to 35 foot tall Eliot tower, which offers panoramic views of the entire skyline. This location provides a unique view of the city from afar; the  beautiful forested hills only add to the enchantment.
