Palms hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada

Palms Place is one of my favorite luxury resorts in Las Vegas. This new-ish addition to the luxury resort scene in Vegas (built in 2008) offers a classy, elegant ambiance without being as uber expensive as the 5 star resorts on the Strip. Palms Place is a unique property as the building consists of both residential and hotel units.

Purchasing one of the beautiful condo units within Palms Place is ideal for a vacation home as it is away from all the craziness of The Strip. The fully furnished luxury units feature marble bathrooms with whirlpool tubs, plasma TVs, a sofa sleeper, stainless steel appliances, and a full kitchen. The best part of all is that residents get to take advantage of hotel amenities like housekeeping, room service, and  24 hour valet service – now that’s a vacation! You also get access to the beautiful spa and fitness center.

A low-key Vegas gem!

Because Palms Place offers a more relaxed, laid-back vibe, it’s the perfect resort option for couples seeking a low-key romantic Vegas getaway. With a classy, modern look, a beautiful spa, a non gaming environment, and a quiet atmosphere, the resort is just perfect for any type of quiet getaway. It’s the most serene property you will find anywhere in Las Vegas.

The rooms at Palms Place are amongst the best in Vegas and include hardwood and marble flooring, a plasma television, rainfall shower heads, whirlpool tubs (some units), and amazing views of the city. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, with an appealing simplistic vibe.

One of the best spas in Vegas

One of the highlights of staying at Palms Place is booking a spa package at the beautiful Drift Spa. This spa is by far one of the best in Vegas. Amenities include a sauna, steam room, hot & cold soaking pools, and access to the only traditional Turkish Co-ed Hammam. The vibe here is very serene and relaxing – it’s impossible not to let your cares completely drift away while spending a few hours in this peaceful oasis.

For the ultimate in spa luxury, I recommend the 90 minute hot stone massage – it’s one of the best treatments I’ve ever had in Vegas. They also offer many seasonal specialties include a delicious Caramel Apple Massage during the fall. The spa is surprisingly affordable for Vegas, and there are enough fantastic special deals to keep you busy with an all day pampering treat. If you are going to be spending a large portion of your vacation walking around The Strip, you will definitely want to recover with a rejuvenating, pampering day at Drift Spa.

More great resort amenities

Other amenities at Palms Place include the Bodyheat Tanning salon, an outdoor pool and hot tub, Rojo Lounge, quick access to the movie theater at the Palms, Cafe 6 casual dining, complimentary shuttle service to Caesars Palace, and shuttle service to the airport with an additional fee.

Walkway to The Palms

Palms Place offers a very relaxing setting, especially with the absence of a nisy casino. However, if you are looking for a bit of action, simply take the convenient walkway to The Palms, which offers all the traditional casino amenities. Besides gaming, The Palms has quite a few nice amenities of its’ own including a top rated nightclub with fabulous views of The Strip known as Ghost Bar and a handful of amazing restaurants.

Two must try restaurants at Palms Place include Nove Italian and The China House. The China House is a fancy Chinese restaurant offering a diverse menu, top notch service, and an elegant atmosphere.

Nove Italian has been rated the best Italian restaurant in Las Vegas, and I can attest that the food, service, and wonderful views did not disappoint! This upscale Italian eatery features a front row view of the dazzling city lights as well as extra fancy touches such as LED Swarovski Chandeliers.

In terms of entrees, I recommend the Fettuccine Shrimp Scampi and the Lobster Mezzaluna. They even threw in a little complimentary dessert plate for my birthday. It was a nice gesture, not to mention absolutely delicious!

New Dining options

Current options as of 2023 include:

Scotch 80 Prime – A top rated steakhouse

Mabel’s BBQ – Classic American BBQ

Tim Ho Wan – Dim Sum hotspot

Vetri Cucina – Italian restaurant located on the 56th floor features amazing views!

Send Noodles – Casual Asian dining.

A.Y.C.E. – All-you-can-eat buffet with 100+ dishes.

All in all, a stay at The Palms Place is a must for anyone seeking a classy, low-key Vegas Vacation. Staying at Palms Place is a relaxing little escape: a rare thing to come by in this 24/7 entertainment playground. Palms Place is a wonderful quiet refuge in a 24/7 city. And whenever you want a little bit of the The Strip action, it’s just a quick shuttle ride away.
